"The cavern seems to be narrowing."

Mo Yexue frowned slightly, sounding uncertain.

As the corpse qi grew denser, the four cultivators' Divine Sense was further suppressed.

Song Wen could only sense an area of roughly two li around him.

The dense corpse qi had also taken the form of black mist, restricting their vision.

Consequently, none of them were nearly as sensitive to changes in the surrounding terrain as before.

"It is indeed narrowing," Lan Chen replied.

"Could we be approaching the end of the cavern?" Mo Yexue asked.

Blood Brow joined in. "That is possible."

Mo Yexue sounded worried. "But we haven't found a single Teleportation Array in this cavern. How are we supposed to leave?"

Lan Chen looked at Song Wen and asked,

"Yinshuo, how did you enter this underground cavern?"

"Through an underwater barrier deep inside a freezing pool," Song Wen replied.

"Where is the barrier?" Lan Chen asked.

Song Wen shook his head. "The barrier only works one way. After Fellow Daoist Blood Brow and I entered the cavern, we found no barrier through which we could return."

After a brief pause, Song Wen asked,

"Fairy, how did you and Fellow Daoist Mo enter the cavern?"

"We came straight here from another small secret realm through a Teleportation Array," Lan Chen said.

"There's still a stretch of cavern ahead that we haven't searched," Song Wen said. "Perhaps we'll find a Teleportation Array leading out there. If not, things could get troublesome."

Just then, Blood Brow, who was flying at the front, suddenly picked up speed.

Seeing this, the other three hurriedly used their movement techniques to keep up.

A short while later, a stand of bamboo appeared a hundred zhang ahead of them.

It was tiny, containing only six stalks.

The bamboo looked very different from
