History

Naruto grows up isolated in Konoha, publicly reviled because the Nine-Tails is sealed within him. Villagers and children call him a monster, avoid him, and throw stones at him; he does not understand why he is hated, but refuses to cry in front of them 1. Teuchi and Ayame of Ichiraku Ramen are among the few adults who treat him kindly, while Sarutobi Hiruzen becomes his first sense of family through regular visits, conversation, ramen, and milk 11 79.

Shimura Danzo intervenes in Naruto’s life by having an Anbu use genjutsu to make the hostile villagers ignore him.
