"Searching for successors?"
The silver-robed Daoist and the blood-robed Daoist considered it, both feeling that this was very likely the case. Otherwise, there was no explaining why they had encountered so little obstruction along the way and had simply been allowed to enter.
Such things had not been unheard of in past secret realms. Many disciples who obtained inheritances had soared into the heavens in a single bound, and among the accomplished cultivators of the thirty-six continents under heaven, some had risen from such origins.
At this thought, the three exchanged glances and saw the fervent light in one another's eyes.
An inheritance like this, left for future generations and meant to support their growth, would certainly have left behind abundant cultivation resources, enough to allow its disciples to cultivate to the pinnacle. Beyond that, there would be no lack of treasures to protect the Dao and Daoist scriptures for cultivation.
Most importantly, this place was itself a blessed land for cultivation. If their sect could occupy it, perhaps it could nurture even more elders and superior cultivators.
The blood-robed Daoist raised a question. "If it is seeking disciples, then it must be for them to serve the sect and pass down its Daoist teachings. Our disciples already possess cultivation. Can they still receive this inheritance?"
Daoist Scattered Ink said, "I do not think that is a problem. Learning divine abilities and spells is one matter; obtaining a Daoist inheritance is another. Besides, this secret realm has allowed so many people in. Presumably, the master of this former estate does not care about the identities of those who come.
"If disciples of our sect are fated for it, we can naturally take over this secret realm. Even if not, we can think of other methods."
After giving it some thought,
