After reaching the third book, he could sense an exceedingly obscure force lying submerged within the Turbid Canon. Barring any surprises, this should have been the Great Chaos.
In fact, the Turbid Canon had not originally been like this. Records in the Dao compendiums of the Azure Yang Profound Residence showed that the things early cultivators sought from the Turbid Canon generally could not exceed the boundaries of their own knowledge.
Even so, it was extraordinarily impressive, for the Turbid Canon could organize and summarize everything a cultivator had learned. This not only allowed cultivators to gain the clearest possible understanding of themselves, but also ensured that they remained on the proper path.
Yet there were exceptions.
