Although he had agreed to let Wu Ze go to the World Rift, there was no urgency to that matter. He still needed Wu Ze to accomplish some things for him.
After returning to his study, he took a metal box from the Purple-Gold Pouch and set it on the desk. Opening it, he found several jade pendants inside, each exquisitely crafted in a different shape.
These had been made by Wu Ze over the past two days after Zhang Yu had mentioned the matter that day.
Those thin chips from before were small, but their function was unclear. Unless they were entrusted to someone truly familiar, no one would actually carry one on them. And they had to be retrieved before they could be identified, which was far too troublesome.
These jade pendants, however, were different. Once worn, if a constructed being appeared nearby, their temperature would change, and they would give off a faint tremor.
But Wu Ze had also said that the reason he had not used this technique before was not because he could not make them. Rather, those constructed beings might now have ways to shield against such items. Moreover, these things had flaws: if an ordinary person carried a construct on their person, the pendant might react as well.
