When the newly ascended Sage Nuwa preached the Dao in Wa Palace, it did not last as long as when the ancestor had preached in Purple Cloud Palace. What she taught was, in fact, her Creation Dao.
She transformed this Dao into a divine ability called Revolve Creation.
So, to put it somewhat offensively, Nuwa was teaching people how to mold clay dolls.
However, this divine ability encompassed far too much and was not so easy to master. Thus, she went on to teach other divine abilities, such as Reverse Yin-Yang, Shift the Stars and Dipper, Turn Back Heaven and Return the Sun, and so on.
If what the ancestor had taught in Purple Cloud Palace had been the Dao, then what Nuwa was teaching now was more about techniques. She touched upon the Dao itself very little.
That was also because the living beings of the Primordial World now had clear and definite paths in their cultivation. Many even had their own masters, whether Xuandu and Duobao, or the demon generals and demon marshals who had come from the Heavenly Court.
Thus, there was no longer as much meaning in teaching those Daos as there had been before.
And so, several hundred tranquil years passed in a flash.
When Nuwa finished preaching, Wu Chu led everyone in preparing to take their leave.
Nuwa and Fuxi saw Wu Chu out of Wa Palace. "Won't you stay a little longer? You weren't planning to attain the Dao right away anyway, were you?"
Nuwa's bright eyes seemed capable of seeing straight through him.
Wu Chu smiled and nodded. "No, I won't stay. You're a Sage now. Standing before you, I don't even dare complain about you in my heart. If I stay too long, it'll feel like I have no secrets left."
