This city was the first great city ever established in the Primordial Land, and also the one with the largest population of living beings. Its permanent residents numbered far beyond ten million.
Back when he had traveled through the Primordial World with his master Tongtian, he had visited quite a few cities and towns, yet he had never come to this First City. He had always felt that his master seemed somewhat resistant to it.

Just as Duobao was lost in thought, a thunderous shout came from the city below. "Who is sneaking about and daring to spy on the First City? Get down here!"
As he watched the bustling crowds below, Duobao suddenly felt himself locked onto by an aura. Then he saw a furry white claw glowing with blood-red light reaching for him.
Duobao was about to flee when he realized he had already been caught in that crimson-glowing white claw. "A misunderstanding! It's a misunderstanding! Senior Brother Huanglong, save me! I'm Duobao!"
With a whoosh, Duobao was dragged down by the enormous claw and thrown onto the ground.
Before him stood a White Ape, looking down at him through its nostrils. That ape face gave Duobao quite a fright. What a powerful ape demon!
Duobao froze for a moment. Seeing that the other party had not restrained him, he climbed to his feet, dusted himself off, and cupped his hands toward the ape. "I am Duobao, disciple of the Upper Purity Taoist. I came here at my grandmaster's invitation to study. May I ask how I should address you, fellow Daoist?"
"You're Uncle Tongtian's disciple?"
