The Sacred Tree still stood between heaven and earth, wisps of cloud and mist gently winding around it. Beside the Sacred Tree, the immortal palace built atop the peak still occupied its place, hazy and indistinct amid the clouds.
Figures could occasionally be seen moving through the immortal palace, and sounds of play sometimes drifted out from within, showing that it had not been abandoned.
Taiyi guessed that the Human Clan on Fusang Island had likely been brought there by Fellow Daoist Shaoyang. Perhaps he wanted these humans to help him manage this land.
