The idea Kong Jiao voiced happened to coincide perfectly with Han Xi's own.

He could not make out the person's precise appearance, only a humanoid outline, but that was enough.

It was obvious that the being had heard Kong Jiao's transmission. Slowly, it lifted its lowered head. Those eyes, brimming with vicious light, fixed on Kong Jiao's face for a moment before it gave a slight nod.

"It can communicate!" Seeing that, Kong Jiao was reassured.

No matter how ferocious the thing inside was, as long as it understood human speech and could communicate, that was enough.

Surely it would not attack the people who had come to save it.
