Misty Cloud Sect Leader

Yun Yun led the Misty Cloud Sect, one of the Jia Ma Empire's foremost powers, from Misty Cloud Mountain. She personally trained Nalan Yanran and praised her disciple's record-setting breakthrough to the Dou Zhe realm, while stressing that Yanran should stabilize her foundation rather than rely recklessly on pills. 106

Her caution toward alchemists was shaped by Gu He's destruction of the Chek Family over a prescription. Although Gu He served the sect as a sixth-tier alchemist, Yun Yun warned Yanran that alchemists could be dangerous to offend and treated him with deliberate reserve. 106

Encounter in the Magical Beast Mountains

While traveling deep in the Magical Beast Mountains, Yun Yun was drawn to the scent of Xiao Yan's medicinal grilled fish. She concealed her identity as Yun Zhi when meeting him; Xiao Yan likewise introduced himself as Yao Yan. 135 137

The fish's medicinal effects suppressed her Dou Qi and left her unable to control the heat in her body. Xiao Yan later used Three Insights of Bodhi to calm her condition, cleanse her body, and refine her Dou Qi, directly enabling her advance to four-star Dou Emperor. 137 142 144

Seeking the Purple Spirit Crystal needed for Nalan Yanran's cultivation resources, Yun Yun remained in Amethyst Valley and negotiated with Xiao Yan.
