City Lord's Manor.
The Bloodshadow Chief God wore a dark red robe as he watched Hill being led in by a maidservant. Smiling, he said, "Hill, I never expected a fate-element Paragon like you to come to our little Bloodshadow Prefecture. I am quite curious. With your strength, even if you went to a main city or Sacred City, you would be treated with courtesy by those powerful Chief Gods."
Paragons were usually highly valued by Chief Gods. Even Chief Sovereigns were very courteous toward them.
This was because Chief Gods and Chief Sovereigns were forbidden from entering the countless material planes of the lower realms, whereas High-God Paragons could enter them.
Thus, at certain times, Chief Gods and Chief Sovereigns needed the help of Paragons.
For instance, if a Supreme Divine Decree fell into a material plane, Chief Gods and Chief Sovereigns could only watch helplessly, unable to enter and seize it.

Therefore, Chief Sovereigns and Chief Gods were extremely courteous when facing Paragons.

Hill walked step by step toward Bloodshadow Chief God, smiling broadly, looking utterly harmless.
Bloodshadow Chief God was not particularly wary either. After all, with the strength of a Chief God, he was still very confident when facing a High-God Paragon.
After all, while there had been cases of Paragons defeating Chief Gods, there had never been a case of one killing a Chief God.
