Cegorach!
Tzeentch immediately understood the reason. He blasted a mesh of solid crystal fragments at an utterly ordinary patch of space. Another piece of cloth burned and drifted down amid a dazzling explosion, and Cegorach's back flickered in and out of view beneath the cover of ash.
In his arms was the source of desire Tzeentch so desperately wanted.
"Stop right there!" Tzeentch was truly becoming anxious now. He had accounted for countless possible failures, yet he alone had overlooked this Aeldari Harlequin's Laughing God.
How could he have made such an error? Tzeentch regretted his incomplete calculations, then understood that overlooking the Laughing God had not been an accident at all, but something deliberately arranged by others.

Laughter rang out at just the right moment. "That is why having thoughts is what matters most. Without thoughts, many things would have no driving force to happen at all." The Deceiver blocked Tzeentch's path and casually released a great number of Degraded Ones infused with forgotten history. They could never defeat Tzeentch, but they could buy Cegorach enough time.
"Why?! Why?!" Tzeentch was both furious and frantic. Tens of millions of spells gathered within his ever-changing form, ready to strike. Though The Deceiver shook his dice and catastrophically unraveled most of them, arcane explosions hardly counted as attacks to Tzeentch. With a single breath, he could suppress the endless waves of fire within himself and weave even more deadly spells.
The Deceiver merely laughed at the increasingly enraged Tzeentch and reminded him, "Calm down. If you get too angry, Khorne will recover faster."
Tzeentch's flames abruptly subsided. He stared unwillingly and coldly at The Deceiver, who flitted and dodged through the storm of spells.
