Slap!

Lin Fan's slap smashed viciously into Mortarion's face. The immense force was more than even the ascended Mortarion could resist, and his tough, powerful body could only spin with the blow.

After rotating 720 degrees in midair, Mortarion crashed to the ground, along with countless lofty ambitions.

Lin Fan looked at Mortarion, who had fallen backward with his hands behind his back and lost consciousness. He felt little emotion, only that the force of that slap had been just right.

"Isha! Restrain them!"

With a raised hand, Isha restrained Mortarion's guard. As the Goddess of Life, controlling the activities of living beings at close range was no difficult task for her.

With no one to disturb him, Lin Fan found Mortarion's secret chamber. He kicked open the doors and entered, immediately spotting Drach'nyen hanging on the wall, desperately concealing its presence and making itself look inconspicuous.

"Get over here!" Lin Fan removed the hilt and rubbed it between his fingers. Countless voices rang in his ears as the demons tried to persuade him to remove their shackles. Then they could destroy the Imperium of Man together and become great beings no one in this world could ignore.

Lin Fan curled his lip and ignored Drach'nyen. If he wanted to, he had plenty of ways to destroy the Imperium and this universe.

He placed his hands on both ends of the hilt, then bent his fingers slightly and applied force. The hilt trembled as it warped. Lin Fan could feel the terror and resistance flowing from it, and he said, "Quiet down. If you weren't still somewhat useful, I would've swallowed you whole long ago."

The hilt emitted a frail hum of submission. From between Lin Fan's fingers, it had sensed a power far greater than the Four Gods.
