Lion narrowed his eyes and decided to abandon the idea of ending this quickly. He knew far too little about what the power of Chaos could do. He had to probe Guilliman's true strength first.

He retreated beneath Guilliman's increasingly frenzied assault, his steps cracking the solid ground.

"What's wrong, Lion? Are you afraid now? Where is your courage? Where is your pride?!" Guilliman laughed arrogantly, and Lion's guard could no longer endure it. They shouted as one.

"Lord Lion! We'll help you!"

Hearing their footsteps, Lion immediately roared, "Idiots, don't come over!"

But they were still a step too late. Guilliman merely cast them a cold glance, and the flames on his sword swept out like a long serpent, melting four warriors in an instant.

"Guilliman!"

The death of his sons filled Lion with fury. Both hands clamped around his greatsword, he hacked at Guilliman with wild abandon. This brief burst of fury forced Guilliman back step by step.

"Heh heh, getting anxious? That isn't the mindset a warrior should have!" Guilliman steadied himself, seized an opening while Lion's center was wide open, and smashed the sword hilt viciously into his face.
