Beside Abaddon stood veterans clad in ancient Terminator Armor. They were covered in spikes, with two ivory-like ornaments protruding from their faces. No two suits of Terminator Armor were alike. Each had undergone its owner's chaotic personal modifications, and the mismatched components made them look especially crude and shoddy. Having grown used to the refined weapons of the Big Canteen, Lin Fan found it somewhat hard to adapt.
Lin Fan was observing Abaddon and his men, but Abaddon was also observing Lin Fan. He had never seen the design of Lin Fan's green armor before. Perhaps this was the ancient technology Carlos had mentioned, a supreme relic that could be traced back to the Golden Age, or perhaps even further.
From his earlier observations, Abaddon understood that Lin Fan's armor possessed unimaginable defensive power, and its enhancement of the wearer's strength was equally incredible.
How was one supposed to deal with an enemy like this? Or rather, how was one supposed to deal with the ancient technological legacy Lin Fan wore?
Just as he was thinking, Lin Fan moved. A spear of light formed in his hand, and every Black Legion warrior instantly prepared for battle, ready to evade its aim.
The loyal bodyguards immediately stepped before Abaddon, holding heavy shields fitted with force fields. Powerful weapons glowing with profane light were concealed behind their shields.
Lin Fan lowered the spear of light again, seemingly with no intention of throwing it. After waiting a few minutes, he suddenly raised it once more. He
