"Is there never a time when this damn place has decent visibility?" Lin Fan complained about the murky filth of Nurgle's domain. Right now, he could see nothing except the flower that held him.
Nurgle watched Lin Fan silently for a long while before speaking. "For a mortal, reaching this place is no small feat. I ought to reward you, but first, I have many questions to ask."
"Go ahead." Lin Fan replied, trying to locate Nurgle by following his voice.
"Recently, I lost a piece of bone in a region of the material universe, one that contained a portion of my essential power. I smell something familiar on you. I assume you know something about it?"
"Oh... heh... that..." Lin Fan gave a few stiff laughs without answering directly. During their conversation, he had not managed to find Nurgle's position at all, so he wanted to stall a little longer.
The voice felt less like it was coming through his ears and more like Nurgle's mouth covered the entire area from his ear canals to his brain. If that was any indication, fighting Nurgle next would be extremely difficult.
The ground beneath his feet was Nurgle. The taste in his mouth was Nurgle. The air passing through his respiratory system was Nurgle. Even the murky, heavy sky was Nurgle. Nurgle existed as an abstract concept, so Lin Fan could only contend with him in an equally abstract way.
At present, Lin Fan had only three methods.
The first was to open his stomach and eat like hell. No matter what disgusting thing Nurgle summoned, he would just lower his head and devour it. Some fucking mountain of shit and sea of maggots? He would jump right in, do a three-hundred-and-sixty-degree Thomas spin to sweep through the whole thing, then
