Far from the sealed place, Lorgar noticed that the Word Bearers waiting in the outer region seemed rather strange. Anger and fear flowed through their bodies.
"Do you have any doubts, devout believers?" Lorgar asked, a preaching expression appearing on his demonic face.
The Word Bearers hesitated for a moment, looking at one another, before finally handing Lorgar a rough stone brick.
Lorgar gave it a cursory glance and could only tell that the brick was quite old. It had been made at least ten thousand years ago.
As Lorgar examined the brick, the Word Bearers continued, "Great Urizen, an overconfident lackey of the Corpse Emperor has come here. He provoked our Perfect City and left behind this stone brick."
"Oh? A lackey of the Corpse Emperor?"
"That's right, Urizen. He wore silver-white armor. Judging by his heraldry and decorations, he should be Grey Knights Grand Master Kaldor Diego."
"Mm..." Lorgar nodded, but showed little interest in Diego. He merely ordered his subordinates to capture him and make him repent for the error of worshipping the Corpse Emperor.
"Urizen... we already tried that. Every force we sent was defeated by him."
"Oh? Then he really is impressive."
Lorgar smiled indifferently, still not taking Diego seriously. He simply tossed the stone brick in his hand into the air and caught it again.
The Word Bearer stared blankly at the ancient stone brick. He seemed to have something he wanted to say, but with Lorgar present, he never dared speak it aloud.
Lorgar noticed his conflicted emotions. He dropped to one knee before the Word Bearer, placed a hand on his shoulder, and asked in a relatively gentle voice, "Do you have any other doubts, devout believer?"
"Urizen." The Word Bearer cautiously chose his next words, hoping to make the coming storm
