How strong is Nazarick?
This question may only be answered in detail by Ainz.
On the surface, Great Tomb of Nazarick is often walked around outside by the ruler of death Ainz, nine level 100 NPCs and battle maids created by the Supreme himself.
These are not all the powers of Great Tomb of Nazarick, and calling them most is a bit arbitrary.
From weak to strong, an army composed of the undead can be counted in the thousands.
Disregarding the undead creatures that are refreshed every day due to the attributes of Great Tomb, the undead army formed by the guild itself is as follows.
There are about three thousand Nazarick senior guards. This group of undead creatures, generally around level 30 and 40, can be regarded as a kind of advanced skeleton guards. They are equipped with magic weapons. Because they can cultivate combat skills, these skeletons do not feel stiff and sluggish when fighting, but are as flexible and fast as weapons masters.
There are about two thousand Nazarick experienced guards, with an average level of about 50 to 60. Higher levels allow them to have higher values and can wear higher-end equipment.
There are about a thousand Nazarick masters guarding them. Skeleton warriors of more than 70 levels are wearing shiny and gorgeous golden armor, with untarnished bright red cloaks on the back.
Although the number is huge, numbers are useless in the face of an excessive level gap. In Ainz's memory, a one-level difference in level between two people will widen the gap in attack, defense and other values. After the gap reaches level 28, the weaker party will basically be unable to break through the strong one's defense.
Even if it can, the injuries caused can be easily cured by relying on one's own recovery.
Is it something to be proud of by shaving off a piece of nail or cutting off a piece of hair? Maybe it is considered an honor for the indigenous people of this world.
There are also hundreds of units Great Tomb that are more advanced than these skeleton warriors, that is, units around level 80 and 90, and they often exist as dependents and pets of various guardians.
For example, the sister of guardian Mare, Aura, is not very strong individually, but she controls hundreds of high-level monsters. With the help of her own abilities, the strength of these monsters will further increase.
There is even more power buried in Great Tomb's hierarchy, which exists as a secret weapon to defend against the invasion of other guilds. There are even things in it that make Ainz, as the president, find it difficult to deal with.
At least for now, the army led by Demiurge is only composed of undead creatures refreshed daily by Great Tomb of Nazarick, high-level undead creatures pulled out by Ainz by spending the number of summons, and his demon dependents.
Ainz silently watched the battle, and was surprised by the destructive power displayed by those Leman Russ tanks. If the situation allowed, he would even want to order Demiurge to capture one for him to keep.
"Load the shells!" A huge roar echoed in the car. Even with the assistance of the in-car communicator, the tank commander still had to overcome the huge noise caused by the simultaneous firing of weapons on the body.
The soldiers followed closely behind these huge tanks, using their weapons to clear out the survivors who narrowly escaped destruction.
The formation of four Leman Russ tanks slowly spread out as they advanced. The Death Mage tried his best to stop their advance, let alone the rain of arrows shot by the skeleton warriors.
"Master Demiurge... They are about to rush to the city wall." Mare also reminded Demiurge when he saw this. He was holding the staff in his hand like a coward who was afraid of fighting. In fact, he was imagining how enjoyable it would be to use an earthquake spell to eliminate these people.
With an elegant smile on his face, Demiurge said to Mare, "Oh my, the enemy's counterattack is really strong. It seems that these low-level cannon fodder are not enough to be a threat to them. I believe that Lord Ainz has seen the situation here, and it is time to make a new attempt. Mare, please use high-level magic to test the spell resistance of these enemies."
"Yeah!" Mare nodded excitedly.
It seems that things like fireballs and rocks have little effect on that huge square thing... According to Master Ainz, this kind of mechanical unit made of metal is very afraid of electric shock. How about trying it with thunder and lightning spells?
Mare has determined the spell and is preparing to use the sixth-level spell Heavenly Thunder to attack Team Imperial Army. Although his profession is a forest priest, the spells he is good at are mostly natural magic related to the earth and plants. However, with the support of level and numerical value, there is no problem in using these low-level magics, but the consumption is relatively larger.
The chanting ended quickly, Mare raised his scepter high, and a dark thundercloud appeared in the sky as he summoned it, with blue-purple lightning flowing and flashing in it.
"Heavenly Thunder!"
Mare roared, grabbed the staff with both hands and waved it violently, and the cloud immediately spit out several bolts of lightning as thick as a python and landed on the ground.
During the guidance, all these lightnings fell on Leman Russ tanks, immediately stopping these war machines that had crushed countless undead.
Seeing this scene, Ainz also breathed a sigh of relief.
Does lightning cause extra damage to machines? From this point of view, these machines are not terrible.
"It's really wonderful!" Demiurge applauded and praised, "Even I can't move faster than you when using spells that are not suitable for professions."
"Well... if you praise people like this, they will be shy." Mare blushed because of Demiurge's compliments, and he pinched his white short skirt with his hands.
Although he is a man, he wears cute women's clothes, all thanks to the preferences of the Supreme Being who created him.
The four tanks briefly misfired, losing the suppression of their ferocious firepower. The defeated undead showed signs of pressing forward again. The Imperium infantry could only throw the grenades they carried to prevent them from approaching.
"Ahem... Damn it. Is someone unlucky enough to die?" the tank commander shouted down, and he quickly received a response.
"Sir! No one died in that witchcraft! But our baby Machine Spirit is a little stiff, and we need to take a while to calm him down."
"As long as I'm not exiled, that's fine! There are so many little tricks like these Xenos. Can other weapons still be used?"
"No problem, sir, I've heard Heavy Bolter's curses. Give me a few seconds and I can get him back into the fight!"
It was obviously not the first time that the crew members had seen such a lightning attack. They opened the sealed Adeptus Mechanicus emergency repair box and took out an incense burner full of nano-incense.
They started the incense burner with the built-in motor, shook it slightly next to the hard-running machines, and then puffed out wisps of white smoke.
