The power sword swept through Aosabaier's body. There were no organs or bones torn apart by the disruption field—only a cloud of black smoke blooming where the blade struck.
Aosabaier could barely be bothered to evade the others' attacks. Under Sister Superior Lucia's gaze, he swiftly wielded the sharp blades in his hands. The battle-hardened guards closing in around him had their arms and legs severed one after another, rolling across the ground like human torsos.
"Damn it!" Seeing her sisters lose their limbs to Aosabaier's blade and get bundled away by the Kabalite warriors filled Lucia with boundless rage and hatred. She swung her power sword with all her strength, trying to discern the properties of Aosabaier's armor.
Without the slightest concern for the splashback striking herself, she fired the meltagun pistol in her other hand at Aosabaier. The blazing stream struck his body, but the black mist simply opened a gaping hole, avoiding the melta weapon's attack.
"I'm starting to get bored." Aosabaier found the Sister Superior's attacks dull. He had thought he might find some amusement here, but after coming in, these monkey idiots were utterly incapable of showing him what swordsmanship was.
With a casual motion, he used the antigravity field on his armor to lock the power sword's blade in place, then leisurely returned his elegant long blade to its sheath. With a flick of his wrist, a poisoned spike slid from a gap in his armor into his hand.
Noticing the Sister Superior's peril, the other Sisters tried to close in on her, firing their guns at the Archon even though a blade-wielding xenos stood right before them.
"Don't let them spoil my lord's fun! Throw the shrieker grenades!"
