"How interesting, truly interesting. I never expected you to develop something like this." Oedmeir was full of praise as she watched the giant shield pierce into the shield and emerge from the other side, several research ideas arising in her mind.
Watching the Iron Warriors' ships draw closer bit by bit, Oedmeir decided to activate the Teleportation Cannon to test its effects and make the act more convincing.
That fellow named Oest—his ship should be here.
Silently adding one ship to the cannon's whitelist, Oedmeir activated the only functional cannon aboard this warship.
Mounted atop the hull, the Teleportation Cannon was smooth and sleek, without excessive decorations or grooves. Only rings upon rings of blue light shone through its seams, while high-energy lightning flickered at its muzzle, striking within the barrel.
The Teleportation Cannon raised its angle, aimed straight upward, and fired.
A portal was torn open by lightning, and the shell loaded within the Teleportation Cannon shot into it.
Several rifts appeared from nowhere inside the Iron Warriors' ships. Then heavy, accelerated metal shells emerged from those rifts, piercing through the ships' structures from within.
These warships were merely enveloped in chaotic Warp shields, but the spatial coordinates within still followed their original rules.
Those shields blocked damage from direct strikes, but against the Teleportation Cannon, which could teleport shells through space, they were utterly useless.
"My lord! Thirty percent of the ship's internal structure has been damaged! Numerous compartments and functional areas have suffered severe damage!"
The crew struggled on the bridge. Their bodies had been firmly fixed to their stations by flesh and machinery, yet the impacts from the shells still shook them so badly that they could barely support themselves. They could only seize anything within reach to maintain their balance.
