Khorne's World-Ender Blade blotted out the sky. Like one of those ultimate techniques from a novel, all the energy within the realm was converging upon that terrifying greatsword.

The Aquila that had been quietly hanging around Lin Fan's neck finally moved.

The gold-glinting Aquila seemed so tiny and fragile before Khorne's divine sword, but in the next moment, the small wooden statue gifted to him by The Emperor rapidly swelled and transformed, until it became a golden figure nearly equal in size to Khorne.

A longsword burning with pure golden flames collided with Khorne's heavy blade, which held nothing but pure rage and bloodshed. The shockwave it unleashed was enough to destroy the entire inner ring of the Brass Citadel.

Seeing the shockwave coming, Lin Fan quickly dropped flat and drove his hands deep into the arena floor to anchor himself. Beside him, Leman Russ stared blankly at the golden giant. The winds kicked up by the shockwave sent the wolf-tooth necklace and cloak on his armor fluttering, yet he himself remained unmoving amid the violent storm.

As for Lin Fan, if his arms had not been embedded in the ground like the spikes of climbing picks, his lightweight body might really have been blown away and dropped into some unknown corner of the Warp.

When the apocalyptic collision ended, there were no living people left in the arena besides Leman Russ and Lin Fan. All the others had died in the shockwave that could sweep away everything. The magnificent Brass Pillar Arena had become ruins, while the Brass Citadel built around it had fallen into chaos.

"You... you again..."

Khorne glared furiously at the golden figure before him and raised his heavy sword once more. The two giant gods began their battle in the skies that belonged to them.
