Departure

Qin Yi spent several days taking a trip around the universe. After making sure the universe had returned to normal, he returned to Wakanda.

Thor, who had mostly recovered, was arm-wrestling Hulk.

Seeing Qin Yi step out of a spatial vortex, Thor waved excitedly.

"Qin, let's have a duel between warriors!"

Qin Yi looked at Thor's two eyes and could not help asking,

"Your eye healed?"

"Yeah. After you used the Healing Spell last time, I woke up and found that my eye was slowly recovering. Come on."

Qin Yi sat across from Thor, and the two clasped hands. Lightning flickered around Thor as he exerted all his strength. Even when the table shattered, Qin Yi's hand remained utterly unmoved.

"You're too strong. Qin, are you really human? Your body is even stronger than the gods of Asgard."

"You're strong too, Thor."

Having received Qin Yi's recognition, Thor shouted excitedly,

"Let's have a feast! Ever since leaving Asgard... it's been so long since we held one." Thor's voice gradually grew quieter.

Qin Yi patted Thor on the shoulder.

"You're leaving?"

"Yeah."

To thank Qin Yi and Tony for their help, Wakanda held a grand banquet to bid farewell to its honored guests.

Happy excitedly twisted his body with a Wakandan female warrior on the dance floor.

Qin Yi looked at Shuri beside Tony and asked,

"Where are T'Challa and Bucky?"

Shuri spoke softly to Qin Yi.

"Mr. Qin, my brother said that if Bucky is going to be your bodyguard, his strength might be lacking, so he had Bucky eat the Heart-Shaped Herb. He should be out soon."

Qin Yi was instantly speechless. Black Panther Winter Soldier?

Captain, your best buddy was about to be stolen away. How were the Winter Soldier and Captain supposed to love and fight each other after he ate the Heart-Shaped Herb? But with the Captain's rule-defying power that let him go fifty-fifty against anyone, he probably would not suffer too badly. At most, Bucky would pin him to the ground and pound him.

Spider-Man Peter approached Qin Yi with a glass of wine.

"Mr. Qin, thank you for saving our universe."

Qin Yi patted Peter on the shoulder.

"Here, take this magic card. If you ever run into a problem you can't solve, press this circle, and I'll sense it."

As his fusion rate exceeded 80%, Qin Yi's own strength had reached the pinnacle of the Multiverse.

"Thank you, Mr. Qin. Hopefully, I'll never need to use it."

"Hahahaha!" Qin Yi had no idea just how much trouble this magic card would bring.

With T'Challa and Bucky joining in, the banquet grew increasingly lively.

Qin Yi drank quite a bit, though far less than he ate.

Qin Yi stared blankly at the panel in his mind.

The Healing Spell had advanced because he had healed quite a few zombies before the snap. Could it be that when he had snatched those Stones from Zombie Thanos, the Fairy Force vortex had devoured part of them?

At 81% hunger, he was basically hungry at all times and everywhere.

He really could not devour anything else. That damned system.

That "can be upgraded" after Healing Spell... did he need to level it up a few more times to purify hunger? Was hunger a negative effect?

With his mind in a mess, Qin Yi lay back in his chair and looked up at the starry sky.

Tony was dragged onto the dance floor by enthusiastic Wakandan female soldiers. Happy was still excitedly twisting his body, while Spider-Man shyly held Shuri's hand after talking Tony's ear off.

Black Panther T'Challa, who had drunk quite a bit, was holding Bucky's hand and saying something unknown.

Doctor Strange and Dr. Banner seemed to be discussing something.

Qin Yi quietly reclined in his chair. These past few months seemed to have been the busiest since he had come to the Marvel Universe.

He just did not know how things were in the main universe. There probably had not been anything special lately, right?

Wanda, dressed in a white gown, sat beside Qin Yi. Qin Yi stared at Wanda for a while. Red still felt better.

Damn, main-universe Wanda... forget it. I'm not some savior. Whatever happens later, I'll deal with it later.

"Leaving tomorrow?"

"Yeah. Oh, don't move." After saying that, Qin Yi placed a hand on Wanda's forehead.

From afar, Tony suddenly glanced over and muttered to himself,

Damn, Qin likes that kind of thing?

As the Fairy Force in Qin Yi's hand activated, Wanda's mind instantly went blank.

A moment later, Wanda blankly looked at Qin Yi, whose hand rested against her face.

The two stared at each other for a moment. Just as something stirred within Qin Yi, Wanda looked around in confusion.

"Your name is Wanda. You're a superhero. You were injured while saving the world before and lost your memories.

"Oh, right. This is the magic book you left with me before."

Qin Yi casually handed Wanda a book containing advanced Kamar-Taj magic.

Wanda blankly accepted the magic book and sat there reading it.

Qin Yi then told Doctor Strange Stephen and the others about it.

After hearing him out, Stephen pondered for a while before saying,

"This is good too. Otherwise, I'd really be afraid that she wouldn't be able to control her own power."

Qin Yi rubbed his head with one hand as he thought.

Chaos Magic... was it Chthon, the god of dark magic? That guy was much weaker than the five great creator gods.

Though Marvel seemed to have changed the setting later.

Not a big problem. He could freely travel through the Marvel Universe's surplus universes now anyway.

As long as he did not run into beings on the level of the Heart of the Universe, One-Above-All, or the Living Tribunal...

"Qin, let's have a duel between warriors!"

Thor waved at Qin Yi from far away.

The group walked over to the bonfire. Thor carelessly tried to sling an arm around Qin Yi's shoulders.

Qin Yi quickly dodged aside and teased Thor,

"Thor, too bad you're not a pretty girl."

Thor laughed heartily and handed Qin Yi a beer. The group drank and chatted.

"Qin, I really want to visit your universe. I want to see my father and mother, and Loki..."

"How about I take out the Thor in our universe, then you can go there?"

Qin Yi made a slicing gesture.

Thor fell silent for a while.

"Forget it. Father and Mother would be sad."

Qin Yi said to Thor, who was concealing his grief,

"Thor, you are the king of Asgard. Stay on Earth and build a new home. Asgard has never been a place—it is its people. Take good care of your subjects."

Thor stared blankly at Qin Yi. Remembering that his father Odin had once said the exact same words to him, he nodded heavily.

Tony and Happy had already fallen asleep from exhaustion.

Qin Yi, Thor, and Stephen chatted around the bonfire for a long time.

At last, dawn tore open the curtain at the horizon.

As the first rays of morning sunlight shone upon the earth, Qin Yi tilted his head up and looked toward the horizon.

A moment later, he turned back to glance at Wanda, who was still reading the magic book.

Thor was sleeping soundly beside the bonfire, hugging a bottle of liquor.

Qin Yi nodded to Doctor Strange beside him, and Stephen nodded in return.

After a ripple of spatial energy, Qin Yi appeared in Tony and Happy's room. Black Panther T'Challa and Winter Soldier Bucky were making their final farewells.

With a wave of Qin Yi's hand, sleeping Tony and Happy were enveloped in energy.

Black Panther T'Challa walked over, grasped Qin Yi's hand, and said,

"Mr. Qin, I'll leave Bucky in your care."

Qin Yi nodded, and a stream of energy enveloped Bucky.

Under T'Challa's reluctant gaze, the group vanished.

Wanda at the banquet table looked up once, then lowered her head and continued reading the magic book.
