The Birth of Little Morgan

It had been eight months since Pepper discovered she was pregnant.

Pepper, who was about to give birth, had become the most important person in Howard Estate.

At first, Pepper had refused to move into Howard Estate. That was until Howard and Maria met with Pepper's parents, and Howard placed all of his Stark Industries shares under the unborn child's name.

Faced with Howard and Maria's pleas, as well as her parents' earnest persuasion, Pepper moved into Howard Estate.

The obstetricians who had been standing by in the estate for months were overjoyed. They had received the most expensive compensation in history, and every one of them eagerly awaited the newborn's arrival.

Tony had been at a loss at first. Faced with his parents' disdain, he eventually just hid in the lab, feeling that there was no longer any place for him at home.

But when the child was about to be born, Tony could no longer stay in the lab. Even the armor that had recently been his darling no longer seemed important to him.

He began sneaking off to see Pepper. Sometimes, Tony stood blankly at the door; other times, he grinned foolishly outside it.

Qin Yi had no idea what nonsense was going through his head.

The day he heard the news, Qin Yi rushed back to Kamar-Taj. After searching for quite a while, he finally found Ancient One. Grabbing her hand, Qin Yi asked,

"Old Yao, does Kamar-Taj have any magic to stabilize a pregnancy?"

Ancient One was left dazed by Qin Yi's question. She asked uncertainly,

"You have a child? But isn't that a little early?"

Under Ancient One's meaningful gaze, Qin Yi hurriedly shook his head.

"Tony's, not mine."

Upon hearing that, Ancient One spoke solemnly.

"Kamar-Taj is a sacred place that safeguards the safety of Earth's dimensions."

"Enough, enough. Just tell me what you need me to do."

Ancient One smiled faintly. A spellbook appeared in her hand, which she handed to Qin Yi.

After Qin Yi took it and glanced at it,

"Old Yao, you've been holding out on me. You actually kept things from me."

Ancient One merely smiled and said nothing. She closed the spellbook in Qin Yi's hands, then pointed at its title and looked at him with amusement in her eyes.

Qin Yi lowered his head for a look.

Fuck me.

Kamar-Taj Complete Manual of Maternity Care Magic

Scratching his head awkwardly, Qin Yi gave Ancient One no chance to laugh at him and vanished directly from Kamar-Taj.

After returning to Howard Estate,

Pepper looked helplessly at Qin Yi as he prepared to cast magic. Only after Aunt Maria explained things to Pepper for quite some time did she finally calm down.

Tony stood awkwardly to the side. There was no longer even a seat for him in the living room. Still worried, he asked Qin Yi,

"Qin, can this really work? This is the first time I've heard that magic can stabilize a pregnancy."

Qin Yi glanced at Tony.

"You should count yourselves lucky. Go ask around in other universes whether any Sorcerer Supreme would help someone stabilize a pregnancy. For the sake of my future niece, I won't hold it against you."

Qin Yi explained further to Pepper.

"Sister Pepper, pregnancy-stabilizing magic can make the fetus more attuned to magic, and the little one will be healthier in the future. Don't worry. I'm the most powerful Sorcerer Supreme on Earth."

Although Pepper nodded, she still looked uneasily toward Aunt Maria. Only when Aunt Maria held her hand and comforted her did she relax.

Howard Estate

Qin Yi glanced at Uncle Howard and Tony outside the delivery room. The father and son had been pacing back and forth in front of him for half an hour, making Qin Yi nervous as well.

Aunt Maria, along with a group of midwives... doctors, stayed in the delivery room with Pepper.

After eight months of magically stabilizing the pregnancy, Qin Yi could not even be bothered to look at his Hunger level, which had already exceeded 90%. He took an apple from his magic space, ate it, and thought to himself,

If this keeps up, I might not even have to wait for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to kick off in 2008. My Hunger level could break past 100% long before then.

He then glanced at the system attached to his left wrist. It was already 2001. That damn 89757 had been dormant for ten years. Are you planning to sleep until the end of time, until the galaxy itself is destroyed?

When it fused Fairy Force back then, had it not foreseen the situation he would face in the future?

For Qin Yi now, methods like eating and self-hypnosis could no longer solve that burning hunger.

If not for his Healing Spell having already reached Advanced level, Qin Yi estimated that he would have gone insane long ago. Even so, the Healing Spell could only keep him free from the torment of hunger for half the day.

He had to find a way. If he could not solve the Hunger problem, Qin Yi suspected that he would become like Stephen Strange from a certain universe and destroy this universe. The only difference was that this universe would be destroyed in a different way—it would be eaten by Qin Yi.

Qin Yi was not sure what kind of existence he would become by then. Would he be like Galactus, the planet-devourer? Or would he become like Dormammu, abandoning his physical body to become the lord of an unknown dimension?

In the quiet courtyard, only the sounds of Howard and Tony pacing back and forth could be heard.

A loud baby's cry shattered the silence, pulling Qin Yi out of his thoughts.

Tony exchanged a look with his father and rushed excitedly toward the delivery room, only to be stopped by the doctor at the door. Facing these wealthy benefactors, the doctor carefully explained,

"Mr. Stark, please wait a moment. You can go in after the doctors finish providing care inside."

Howard nodded at Tony and waited quietly outside the door.

Qin Yi walked over to Tony, patted his shoulder, and asked,

"Have you decided on a name, Tony?"

Tony nodded.

"Morgan. Pepper and I discussed it. Uh... Pepper has a strange uncle named Morgan..."

With Little Morgan's birth, she became the entire family's darling and smoothly rose to first place in the Howard Estate family hierarchy.

Uncle Howard often smiled foolishly at Little Morgan in her swaddling clothes, while Aunt Maria even frequently forgot to prepare breakfast for everyone else.

Qin Yi had no choice but to regularly take out piles of food from his magic space, preventing them from constantly going hungry.

Tony's situation was complicated. On one hand, he felt guilty toward Pepper; on the other, as a first-time father, he could not tell what he was feeling.

He barely even had the chance to look at Little Morgan in her stroller.

Because Little Morgan was monopolized by Howard and Maria, as well as Qin Yi, who was becoming an uncle for the first time across both his lives.

Pepper had no plans to marry Tony. When Aunt Maria expressed her confusion,

Pepper felt that Tony was clearly not ready to enter married life yet.

Maria tightly held Pepper's hand.

"We're family, child."

Pepper nodded. Because the child was still so young, Pepper did not move out of Howard Estate. Instead, she stayed to care for Little Morgan, though she was rarely needed for it.

Qin Yi did not understand the subtle state between the two of them, but it no longer mattered. Holding Little Morgan, Qin Yi chuckled foolishly.

Timelines, worldlines—go stand somewhere else. My little niece is what matters most right now.
