"All right, then let us fight those damned heretics to the death." Once all his defenses had been stripped away, Kratos instead calmed down, no longer as restless and anxious as before.
"Send the news back to Terra. Make the Imperium and the Adeptus Mechanicus high command take notice of the intelligence here, so the Imperium can gain a clearer understanding of these traitors. We must strive to wipe out this new group of damned heretics as soon as possible and deny them any chance to continue growing."
With his heavily modified mechanical electronic eyes fixed firmly on General Kratos, Archimonde the Magos Dominus put forth every suggestion he could think of.
"I will send this information back to Terra so the High Lords can better understand the situation here. Once they receive it, they will dispatch the Imperium's elite forces to eradicate these heretics. I will also remain at my post aboard my flagship and do my best to destroy every heretic who enters it."
Kratos nodded in agreement with Archimonde's proposal. He gave the Magos Dominus a deep Aquila salute, then cut off the communication.
After ending the transmission, Kratos activated the flagship's loudspeakers. Holding the microphone, he shouted:
"Soldiers, prepare your defenses. Our fleet can no longer hold back the heretics' assault. Let us offer ourselves to the great Emperor. May our souls return to the Golden Throne after death."
The crew members who had been nervously repairing the warship heard General Kratos's grave words and instead set down their work. They stopped and quietly listened to his final message. When General Kratos finished speaking, every officer and soldier aboard the Vengeance-class grand cruiser erupted in earth-shaking roars.
