Shino was somewhat ragged in the face of every full-force swing from Kanas. Under Kanas's attacks, he was forced back step by step. The Iron Cavalry-pattern Power Armour he wore was already operating at full power, greatly enhancing his strength.
Even so, Shino could only barely fend off Kanas's repeated attacks. This left the battle-hardened Shino utterly furious. All his combat experience was useless in this fight; his opponent was like a barbarian, relying solely on immense brute strength to batter Shino into such a sorry state.
Bang
As the two fought fiercely, Shino let his guard down for an instant and was kicked in the chest by Kanas. He flew backward and rolled repeatedly across the deck in a wretched state. Several cracks had appeared in the thick ceramite armour over the chest of his Iron Cavalry-pattern Power Armour from that kick. As he rolled, Shino felt a suffocating pressure in his chest and struggled to breathe.
After kicking Shino away, Kanas quickly pursued him, his Power Sword swiftly slashing toward Shino's head. Just as Kanas was about to cut off Shino's head, he sensed a threat behind him. He spun around and used his Power Sword to block the incoming attack.
Clang! The two colliding Power Swords rang out like clashing metal. Kanas looked down and discovered that the Astartes Space Marine who had ambushed him was wearing a red helmet.
Kanas looked at the Space Marine, who was more than half a meter shorter than him, and said in a deep voice, "You have some courage, daring to interfere in the battle between me and your Chapter Master. State your name."
Hearing Kanas's low voice, the red-helmeted Space Marine raised his head and looked proudly at him. "Iron Wall Chapter Champion, Sergeant Major Casilia."
