If the Adeptus Mechanicus had sent its Titan forces to intercept the boarding Space Marines after the Space Marines launched their boarding operation, the Space Marines could have easily destroyed the Adeptus Mechanicus's Titan forces by relying on the cramped confines inside the warship.
This was also why, after the Space Marines launched their boarding operation, the Adeptus Mechanicus would rather deploy Kastelan Robots to stop them than send in its own Titan forces.
Even the Earth Dreadnought, which stood only eight meters tall, found many corridors unsuited to its height after entering the warship. Whenever it encountered a passage it could not traverse, it had to use its Melta Cannon to blast a path open before it could continue fighting at Gray's side.
"I never expected the Adeptus Mechanicus to deploy Titan forces this time. But in such cramped quarters inside a warship, Titans simply cannot bring their advantages into play."
Gray raised his head and looked at the ten Warhound Titans standing there, speaking with emotion to David beside him.
"Yes. The fleet sent by the False Emperor's lackeys probably never expected to be severely mauled by our naval fleet the moment it entered the Star Sea Galaxy," David agreed after hearing Gray's words.
This was also something the Martian Mechanicum had not anticipated. The Titan forces it had deployed had not even had the chance to serve their purpose before being captured by the Space Marines.
The Fabricator-General of the Martian Mechanicum had believed that even if the Imperial Navy fleet failed to gain the upper hand in the naval battle, it could still deploy Titan forces to work with the Space Marines to wipe out these heretics.
As long as they could eliminate the heretic forces on the ground, they would obtain the small Void Shield
