Gray and Mendeleev looked at Anrida and breathed a sigh of relief. They had originally worried that Anrida would be angry over the soldiers who had been poached.
But now, he seemed no longer to care about it. After all, training recruits was his duty.
Gray asked curiously, "After training for so long, is your army ready?"

Anrida replied confidently, "After so long training, the soldiers have developed excellent coordination. Our Defense Force is now stronger than before and can deal with more powerful enemies."

"Our naval fleet has also developed sufficient coordination. We won't be as hasty as last time when faced with a sudden attack," Mendeleev said confidently.
After hearing Anrida and Mendeleev describe the state of their forces, Gray proposed to them in a low voice:
"Since our forces are now ready, why don't we seek an audience with the Lord of the Stars and request permission to deploy troops? We can attack the nearby Imperium territories and liberate the people still suffering under the False Emperor's lackeys."
Although Gray spoke of liberating the people in nearby star systems who continued to suffer under the Imperium's rule, everyone present could hear the deeper meaning in his words. They knew that Gray's true intention was not merely to save those suffering people,
