The governor of the industrial world remained inside a secure fortress, repeatedly looking up at the sky, thick with clouds. A trace of anxiety and unease showed in his eyes. Ever since the Aerospace Fighters had carried out their bombardment, he had been trapped in a state of nervous anticipation.

The governor's heart was filled with fear and worry. On one hand, he feared that the heretics would launch another ferocious bombing raid, causing even greater destruction to the industrial world.

On the other hand, he worried that before the Planetary Defence Force could recover from the chaos of the bombardment, the heretics would immediately launch a landing operation and swiftly break through the industrial world's defences.

Yet as time passed second by second, the Star Army never launched an attack. The waiting was unbearable for the governor. He had no idea what the enemy's next move would be, nor could he predict when they would strike.

This uncertainty filled the governor with anxiety and unease. He began to doubt whether his judgement and decisions had been correct.

I must calm down. I cannot panic. The safety of this world rests entirely on my shoulders. I cannot show any panic.

As he waited in torment, the governor could not help but slap his face hard, forcing himself to calm down. At this tense moment, he realised that he had to remain calm and vigilant.

He needed to watch the situation closely and be ready at any moment to deal with whatever might arise. At the same time, he understood that only firm leadership and decisive action could protect the industrial world's safety.

"Great God-Emperor, please grant some guidance to Your humble servant. Let me know how this world can continue to survive stubbornly beneath the invasion of heretics."
