"Let's go!" Nack led Marshall out of the hangar housing the Knight mech unit and headed outside.
Marshall followed Nack, his heart full of confusion and curiosity. Commanders generally stayed on the bridge to direct combat, so Marshall could roughly guess that they were headed for this warship's bridge.
When Marshall realized he had been brought to another room identical to the small room he had entered aboard the cruiser earlier, he could not help asking again,
"Captain Nack, are we using the teleportation platform again? Just how large is your cruiser? Why do we need a teleportation platform just to get to the bridge?"
Nack looked down at Marshall with a smile. "I forgot to tell you. Our other two commanders are on the battleship's bridge, and this cruiser is merely one ship in our fleet.

He could not help doubting the Imperium. Did it truly have the ability to withstand the Star Army's assault? But when Marshall remembered that he was now a member of the Star Army as well, he could not help feeling pleased with himself. Luckily, he had surrendered quickly. The Star Army's strength was his strength too.
An ordinary fleet having a battleship was an outrageously powerful arrangement of firepower. The most powerful warships the Imperium deployed were generally heavy cruisers serving as flagships, and only in dire situations could they produce battlecruisers.
This meant that the fleet's strength far
