Boom! Boom! Boom!
The silent explosions seemed capable of tearing apart the vacuum of the entire universe. Countless dazzling bursts of fire flared continuously through the dark void like brilliant fireworks.
Ato piloted his Aerospace Fighter like a bolt of lightning through the vast stars. He locked onto his target with precision and, with an incomparably fierce assault, successfully destroyed an Imperial destroyer.
As that destroyer shattered in the explosion, the other Aerospace Fighter pilots did not relax because of it. They knew the weight of their mission. Even after suffering enormous losses, they fearlessly charged into the enemy formation and destroyed another four Imperial destroyers in succession.
However, this fierce battle did not come without a price. Of the one hundred Aerospace Fighters and one thousand Intelligent Wingmen deployed, nearly half had been lost. Some had been struck down in fierce combat with the enemy, falling like meteors.
Others had suffered such severe damage that they could no longer fight, drifting silently in the depths of space. Fortunately, not a single Aerospace Fighter pilot had been killed or injured.
Protected by advanced teleportation capabilities and closely monitored by the Aerospace Fighters' intelligent AI, the moment the AI calculated that an Aerospace Fighter showed signs of being destroyed, it immediately activated the teleportation device and instantly transported the pilot back to the warship, ensuring their safety.
To the Star Army, while Aerospace Fighters were certainly valuable, they were nowhere near as valuable as a qualified pilot.
Aerospace Fighters could be rapidly produced through efficient assembly lines. Their manufacturing process was already highly mature, allowing large numbers of fighters to be built and deployed in a short time.
A qualified pilot, however, was different. They needed to undergo long and grueling training. They had to possess not only exceptional flying skills
