Without question, the only outcome would be destruction alongside Arjinto, as they went together to their deaths.
Kam was not the kind to sit still and await death. He let out a roar, spun around with all his strength, and gripped the enormous axe tightly in both hands as he swung it viciously at the incoming attack without hesitation.
In the instant he whirled around, Kam finally saw the attacker clearly.
A towering, imposing figure stood before him, nearly three meters tall. He was encased from head to toe in incomparably heavy golden power armor, like an impregnable fortress of steel.
Most striking of all was the Power Sword in his hand, blazing with fierce flames. As it moved, it was like a fire dragon rampaging and roaring through the sky, leaving a sea of fire in its wake.
With a shrill, grating screech of metal—Screech!—Kam discovered in horror that his supposedly indestructible great axe had been sliced in two as easily as tofu the instant it collided with the Flame Sword.
The blazing sword light did not pause in the slightest. It continued through the air with lightning speed, mercilessly cutting into Kam's body.
In an instant, the searing flames released by the Flame Sword spread rapidly, swallowing Kam whole.
