Nack reached out to stop the researcher, his face full of curiosity.
"Is Director Wells currently occupied with research? If so, what project is he working on right now? Could we go over and observe it ourselves?"
At his words, the researcher lowered his head to check the personal terminal in his hand, then looked up and replied,
"Director Wells is currently conducting research on gene-seed cloning. The good news is that the experiment has been successfully completed."
The researcher then turned his gaze toward Tyberos and the others standing behind Nack. He frowned slightly, looking troubled.
"Captain Nack, you naturally have permission to visit, but... they do not seem to have the necessary clearance. I am afraid it will be difficult for them to enter the laboratory."
When Nack heard that Director Wells was researching cloned gene-seed, the corners of his mouth lifted into a pleased smile.
He then lowered his gaze toward the researcher. "These cloned gene-seed were originally prepared specifically for them, so there is no issue with letting them come along to see them.
"I will personally take them to observe Director Wells's research results. There is no problem with that, correct?"
After hearing Nack's words, the researcher considered it briefly before no longer insisting on stopping them. Instead, he nodded readily in agreement.
"In that case, I will leave it to you, Captain Nack. With you personally leading them, I am sure nothing will go wrong. Director Wells is currently in Laboratory A103."
