Just as the auxiliary soldiers launched their attack like tigers descending the mountain, the Apocalypse Tanks in the rear roared like steel behemoths. Their barrels spat blazing flames as powerful shells shrieked toward the Planetary Defence Force positions.
At the same time, the Chimera armoured personnel carriers refused to be outdone. Their mounted machine guns unleashed dense barrages, weaving a deadly web of fire that pinned the enemy down completely.
Under such overwhelming fire support, the Planetary Defence Force positions were instantly engulfed in flames.
The once-sturdy fortifications were blasted to pieces, while dust billowed up and blotted out the sky. With a tremendous boom, the entire position trembled before finally collapsing completely beneath a ferocious round of attacks from the auxiliary forces.
Seeing that the time had come, the auxiliary soldiers charged into the Planetary Defence Force positions with unstoppable force, protected by the solid fire cover provided by the Apocalypse Tanks and Chimera armoured personnel carriers.
Clad in power armour and armed with advanced weaponry, every one of them was unstoppable, like war gods descending upon the battlefield.
Although the Planetary Defence Force soldiers continued to resist stubbornly in the face of the auxiliary soldiers' fierce assault, the disparity in strength between the two sides was simply too great.
The auxiliary soldiers pulled their triggers without mercy. Beams of laser fire and bullets struck their targets with precision, and enemy soldiers clutching their weapons fell one after another with screams.
However, the auxiliary forces had no intention of slaughtering them all. Through the external loudspeakers of their power armour, they repeatedly shouted, "Those who surrender will not be killed!"
The deafening cry resounded across the battlefield, echoing again and again in everyone's ears.
Some of the soldiers who had only recently been forcibly conscripted into the Planetary Defence
