Kadir watched with his own eyes as the fleeing nobles were gunned down from afar by the powerful Space Marines. They were given no chance to escape.
Even the noble guards who voluntarily stayed behind to intercept the Space Marines were all mercilessly killed, with not a single survivor left behind.
Several Star Space Marines strode up to Kadir, lowered their heads to look down at him, and coldly asked in the language of the Star Sea Galaxy, "Are you the commander of this force?"
Though the Star Space Marines' words carried a questioning tone, Kadir could tell that they had already confirmed his identity. No matter how he tried to deny it, it would be useless.
Dressed in noble attire, Kadir lowered his head and quietly said, "Yes, I am the commander of this force. I surrender."
Kadir slowly raised both hands and looked at the Space Marines before him with a desolate expression. Every scrap of his pride had been shattered by these Space Marines.
"Come on. Go to our commander," Wright said to Kadir contemptuously. Wright took the lead toward Gray, with Kadir following close behind him.
Although Wright had his back to Kadir, Kadir did not dare make any small moves, because two Space Marines were also following behind Wright.
The other Space Marines had gone to hunt down the fleeing nobles. Only two members of Gray's guard remained at Wright's side.
