"My psychic power!" Bishop Zakli let out a shrill roar. He could no longer use his psychic power at all.
This left Bishop Zakli utterly bewildered. It was simply impossible to believe—after the other man had merely approached him, his psychic power could no longer be used.
Moreover, this person did not radiate the soul-suppressing aura that Blanks possessed against psykers. This plunged Bishop Zakli into even deeper confusion, and he could not understand what was happening.
After losing his psychic power, Bishop Zakli's reaction speed could no longer keep up with Wright's rapid approach. He only saw a blur flash past him, then felt a chill at his neck. His thoughts came to a halt, and he could no longer sense any information from the outside world.

Without the protection of a psychic barrier this time, the Emperor's statue was easily destroyed by the siege shell. Countless chunks of stone continuously crashed down from the statue, striking the ground with violent noise.
Gray looked at the ruined statue of the Emperor before him. There was only absolute calm in his heart, without the slightest sense of guilt for destroying it.
"Blow up this church as well. Leaving it here is an eyesore."
Gray issued the order to the tank unit over the communications channel.
"Captain Gray, this church could be kept as a church for the Lord of the Stars. Wouldn't it be a pity to blow it up?"
Wright, carrying Bishop Zakli's head as he returned to Gray's side, heard the order
