When Bartos arrived at the drop pod deployment area with the battle-ready veterans of the First and Second Companies, a Terra hour had already passed.
That entire Terra hour had been spent listening to the Company Chaplains' admonitions.
"Enter the drop pods. Prepare for battle," Bartos shouted to the Space Marines behind him.
"Yes." Two hundred Space Marines swiftly and nimbly entered the drop pods, quickly completing their preparations for deployment.
"For the Five Hundred Worlds of Ultramar!"
Bartos roared over the communications channel at the Space Marines accompanying him.
"For the Five Hundred Worlds of Ultramar!"
Space Marine drop pods descended continuously from orbit, their blazing red trails streaking toward the ground.
"WAAAAAAHG!"
Crooked Mouth, piloting the Gargant, howled excitedly from within the cockpit.
By now, over a hundred engineering robots lay scattered around Crooked Mouth. These fifteen-meter-tall engineering robots had been completely smashed into scrap when they engaged Crooked Mouth's Gargant in close combat.
However, the Gargant Crooked Mouth piloted was not in good shape either. The massive war machine was battered and ragged, covered in huge, savage gashes that exposed countless mechanical cables within.
"We can't let the Greenskin boss keep this up. The remaining engineering robots need to be saved to deal with the other Ork war machines."
Gray watched Crooked Mouth rampage across the battlefield and spoke gravely to Mo Tuo beside him.
There were fewer and fewer large war machines left on either side of the battlefield. Crooked Mouth alone, piloting the Gargant, had already destroyed more than a hundred engineering robots.
"Is it our turn now?" Mo Tuo grinned at Crooked Mouth, who was dominating the center of the battlefield.
"We'll take the tactical squad in and deal with the Greenskin boss together. End this war." Gray looked at Mo Tuo solemnly.
