"Uh! It's you!"
Xiao Meng froze when he saw the woman in armor riding atop a tall horse.
The woman was elegant and ethereal, with arched brows, lively eyes, moist red lips, and jade-like pearly teeth. She was exceptionally beautiful.
She was none other than Yaoye, whom he had met once before—and flirted with.
"You filthy rogue, what are you doing here?" The moment Yaoye saw Xiao Meng, her teeth itched with hatred. That damned bastard had actually said he wanted both her and her sister back then. She dreamed of stabbing him hundreds of times.
The middle-aged general and the other soldiers beside her were dumbfounded by Yaoye's tone toward Xiao Meng. Not only did this young man know their princess, but their relationship seemed... a little ambiguous.
"Let's find somewhere to talk," Xiao Meng said, rubbing his nose.
"Uncle Tong, go check the other streets. I have something to discuss with him," Yaoye said. She sensed that Xiao Meng seemed to have something he wanted to tell her privately, so she sent the middle-aged general and the others away.
"Princess, but your..." The middle-aged general hesitated.
Before he could finish, Yaoye said, "If he wanted to harm me, it would make no difference whether you were here or not. So you don't need to worry about my safety."
"What? He..." Everyone was greatly alarmed, staring at Xiao Meng in shock. Naturally, they did not think Yaoye was joking with them.
Did that mean this young man possessed strength at least comparable to a Dou Wang?
At that thought, the middle-aged general could not help drawing a sharp breath. No wonder this kid had remained so composed before him. He was actually an incredibly powerful expert.
Xiao Meng merely watched their reactions and had no intention of explaining anything.
