Ya Fei said softly, "I think she's pretty great too. She's beautiful and kind, and she's a doctor. She's extremely popular in town. Most importantly, she's about the same age as you!"

Jia He smiled and shook his head. "No, no, no. I can smell it now. It's the smell of vinegar!"

Ya Fei froze, then immediately understood. Her face flushed crimson as she shot Jia He a glare. "What vinegar smell? Who's jealous?"

"I-I was just asking. Little Fairy Doctor really is quite good!" Ya Fei added.

Jia He chuckled. "You're quite good too. You even made lotus seed soup for me!"

Jia He raised the bowl in his hand. Ya Fei snorted. "You think one bowl of lotus seed soup is enough to buy you off?"

"Definitely not," Jia He said calmly.

Ya Fei's expression stiffened. She looked at Jia He and asked, "Then what would it take to buy you off?"

"Hmm, let me think. At least several bowls," Jia He said after pretending to ponder it.

Ya Fei gave Jia He a charming glare. "Fine, I'll make it for you every day from now on. I'll make you sick of it!"

As she spoke, Ya Fei could not help laughing herself.

Jia He looked at Ya Fei and said, "All right, it's getting late. Go back and rest early. We're leaving for the Magical Beast Mountain Range tomorrow!"

"What are you going to the Magical Beast Mountain Range for?" Ya Fei asked.
