During this time, Ya Fei and Little Fairy Doctor had followed Jia He. Though they were somewhat tired physically, they remained quite happy in spirit.

When the two women saw Jia He standing atop the rock, their pretty faces immediately flushed faintly.

Jia He said, "Wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow, we'll go there."

Jia He looked toward the enormous mountain not far away. At its summit was a huge cave entrance, half-hidden among the branches.

Little Fairy Doctor and Ya Fei both looked toward the mountain peak.

This was already the deeper region of the Magical Beast Mountain Range. Most magical beasts had changed from the first- and second-tier creatures of the outer regions into third- and fourth-tier ones, and even fifth-tier magical beasts could be found here!

Fortunately, if a fifth-tier magical beast encountered Jia He and provoked him first, it would only be courting death!

"Is that the cave of the Amethyst Winged Lion King you're looking for?" Ya Fei asked Jia He.

Jia He nodded slightly. "That's right. A sixth-tier magical beast—if it can leave the Magical Beast Mountain Range and join Imperial Prison, it will be a great source of strength!"

Nearby, Ya Fei rested her head in her jade-like hands and said somewhat wistfully, "Why has Little Fairy Doctor advanced so quickly?"

Little Fairy Doctor looked at Ya Fei and said softly, "Actually, you've improved quickly too. The constitutions of the two of us are simply different!"

Ya Fei's gaze moved back and forth between Jia He and Little Fairy Doctor. Then she pouted, snorting inwardly.

The cave then fell silent. Jia He stood up and stretched. "Alright, it's getting late. Time to rest. Tomorrow, we'll go speak with the Amethyst Winged Lion King!"

Little Fairy Doctor and Ya Fei watched Jia He walk over to a stone bed and casually lie down. Before long, faint snores could be heard.

The two women smiled at each other. For cultivators, there was basically no need to sleep at night. Even if they spent the night cultivating, they would still be full of energy the next day.

Yet after spending so long in the Magical Beast Mountain Range, they had noticed that Jia He always went to sleep punctually at night.

The next day.

Early in the morning, Jia He got up and began circulating his qi beneath the waterfall. After several major cycles, Jia He opened his eyes.

The three soon arrived before the cave at the mountaintop. Two fourth-tier magical beasts lay before the cave as guards. The Amethyst Winged Lion King certainly had quite the presence!

Sensing the arrival of intruders, the two fourth-tier magical beasts immediately opened their eyes and roared at Jia He's group.

Jia He frowned. "Noisy!"

A terrifying aura spread from Jia He's body, forcing the two fourth-tier magical beasts to prostrate themselves again. They whimpered softly, appearing exceptionally obedient!

At the instant Jia He revealed his aura, a similarly violent presence within the cave gradually awakened.

Then Jia He's group saw a purple blur shoot out from the cave like lightning.

The mountain-sized Amethyst Winged Lion King lightly beat the pair of wings on its back, stirring up a fierce gust of wind.

"Human, why have you come to find this king?" The Amethyst Winged Lion King's enormous beast eyes stared fixedly at the human youth before it.

"I have come to ask you to leave these mountains!" Jia He said with a light laugh.
