In the empty workshop, Nicolas Flamel was teaching Silan the Fiendfyre Curse.
"Fiendfyre is inherently vicious and difficult to control. Its destructive power is astounding. Once unleashed, it will instinctively and frantically devour everything around it."
Nicolas Flamel drew his wand, his aged, unhurried voice echoing softly through the workshop. "But for Alchemy, it is the most suitable. As long as you can control Fiendfyre and make it devour only the impurities within the materials, you can achieve a smelting effect."
With a flick of his wand, petal-like flames suddenly bloomed, then dropped sharply from its tip.
After wheeling through the air a few times, the flame abruptly swelled and, in the blink of an eye, became a small lark.
Though it looked delicate and adorable, the moment the lark appeared, the temperature in the room shot up, scorching their skin with pain.
"Whether you are practicing or using it, you should find an open place with nothing in it," Nicolas Flamel warned seriously. "That way, Fiendfyre will not be disturbed. More importantly, even if it goes out of control, it will not grow rapidly. You will have time to react."
Silan nodded solemnly, indicating that he had remembered.
Then Nicolas Flamel explained the Fiendfyre Curse to Silan in detail and taught him the counter-curse as well.
Once Fiendfyre ran rampant, it would frantically devour everything around it, rapidly expanding until it became difficult to contain.
In terms of destructive power alone, the Fiendfyre Curse was more terrifying than the Killing Curse.
The reason Fiendfyre had not been classified as one of the Unforgivable Curses was that it had a counter-curse that could dispel it.
However, if Fiendfyre spread unchecked, the counter-curse's effects would be greatly weakened.
Nicolas Flamel looked at Silan with a grave expression, his previously leisurely speech
