"As you know, we have every ingredient you could want here." Giggs quickly slipped into sales mode. "We have freshly arrived dragon blood, dragon liver, and Doxy eggs..."
"Spare me the nonsense," Lucius said coldly, impatient. "I'm not here for ingredients. Bring out your best healing potions."
"You're injured?" Giggs asked in surprise. "That could be serious..."
"I suggest you visit St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries instead."
"I said," Lucius repeated, fixing Giggs with his cold gray eyes, "bring out your best healing potions."
"Don't make me say it again."
"Yes, sir."
Giggs dared not say anything more. He hastily shut his mouth, nodded, and hurried behind the counter where the potions were stored.
"This is Skele-Gro. It can regrow bones." Giggs took out a spine-shaped bottle and set it on the counter.
He turned around again and rummaged frantically. "And there are healing potions that speed up the regeneration and repair of bodily tissue..."
Lucius frowned, apparently dissatisfied with all of them.
"Honestly, Mr. Malfoy, you really should tell me the symptoms first," Giggs said cautiously. "Then I can find a potion that specifically treats them."
Lucius was silent for a moment. "The symptoms are headaches, nausea, and occasional bouts of dizziness and vomiting..."
He had just received a letter by owl.
Upon learning that Draco had been injured, Lucius had flown into a rage.
"What are the professors at Hogwarts doing? Can't they even protect a single student?"
"Dumbledore is utterly incompetent!"
"I'm going to file a complaint with the Ministry of Magic! Hiring that half-blood giant was the stupidest decision imaginable!"
Lucius had lost his seat as a school governor the previous school year and had long resented Dumbledore. Now Draco had been injured at Hogwarts, too. These new grievances piled onto the old
