The attempt to capture a Unicorn had failed again.
Quirrell was extremely irritated by this.
He had run all over the Forbidden Forest, crashing about like a headless fly for most of the night, yet he had not even found a single Unicorn tail hair.
During class that day, Quirrell was still pondering how to approach Silan Prewett.
After holding his textbook as usual and reading straight from it, Quirrell dismissed the students.
"Let's go eat together, Silan."
The moment class ended, Hermione hurriedly invited Silan, afraid someone else would call him away.
Silan nodded. "Let's go."
The little girl happily closed her book.
Recently, she had been spending much less time with Silan. They often could not find a chance to be together, which left her rather upset.
Today, she had finally caught an opportunity to eat with Silan.
But just as they stood up, they caught a strong whiff of garlic.
Quirrell, his head wrapped in a turban, stepped down from the podium and walked straight toward them.
"Is there something you need, Professor?" Hermione asked with a frown.
Having this unexpected interruption at such a crucial moment when she was about to eat with Silan made Hermione rather annoyed.
Why was someone always butting in between her and Silan?!
Didn't they have friends of their own?!
Quirrell nervously picked at his fingers. His gaze flickered over Hermione as he stammered, "O-of course, Miss Granger... I mean, I'm looking for Mr. Prewett."
Looking for me?
Silan gave Quirrell a puzzled glance.
Surely he had not discovered that he was the culprit who had smashed the back of his head with a Dungbomb Hammer last time?
Suppressing the jumble of thoughts in his mind, Silan gave him a perfectly timed smile.
"What can I do for you, Professor Quirrell?"
