Ch. 342Loki: Thor, my dear boy, well done

Thor returned from Vanaheim after learning that Malekith and the Dark Elves were preparing to invade the Nine Realms, then discovered that Loki was impersonating Odin in Asgard. Loki dismissed Thor’s warnings about the warp daemons and Chaos Gods, leaving Thor’s attempt to mobilize an attack on Svartalfheim uncertain.

  • Thor and the warriors defeated the Reavers in Vanaheim, and Thor told Sif that Malekith was gathering forces on Svartalfheim to invade the Nine Realms.
  • Thor returned to Asgard and learned from Skurge that Heimdall had been branded a traitor and fugitive after a plague struck the palace.
  • Loki, disguised as Odin, welcomed Thor and heard his report that Surtur had refused Asgard’s offer to build Blackstone Obelisks on Muspelheim.
  • Thor urged Loki to lead an attack on Svartalfheim and reclaim the fallen planets, but Loki dismissed the warp daemons and Chaos Gods as aliens like the people of Asgard.

Ch. 343Loki's Great Plan

Loki, disguised as Odin, persuaded Thor to guard the blackstone constructs while he planned to draw the Pantheon and other empires into the war against the Eye of Terror for Asgard’s benefit. After Thor left, the story shifted to a Reavers’ base, where Beckman returned from a failed raid on Vanaheim and began recounting how Thor had appeared.

  • Loki, disguised as Odin, told Thor that Asgard needed other god clans and interstellar empires to join the fight against the Eye of Terror.
  • Thor agreed to guard the blackstone constructs and report any movements by the Dark Elves, while Loki falsely accused Heimdall of betraying Asgard and dismissed Thor’s concerns.
  • After Thor left, Loki celebrated having removed threats to his rule and summoned the theater troupe to stage a play praising Loki as Asgard’s savior.
  • At a Reavers’ tavern on an asteroid in the Centauri Star Domain, pirates questioned Beckman and two companions about their raid on Vanaheim.
  • Beckman said the raid had initially gone smoothly but failed when Thor appeared in person.

Ch. 344Survivors who escaped the [Warp]

Beckman described how most of his crew were lost in the [Warp] after fleeing [Vanaheim], and Yondu warned the pirates not to approach the [Eye of Terror]. Beckman privately recalled seeing a six-ringed palace that seemed to draw him back, while Peter Quill joined young pirates planning an expedition there.

  • Beckman told the tavern that he and two companions escaped the [Warp], where the rest of their crew became masses of writhing flesh after looking through the viewports.
  • Yondu told Beckman he believed him and warned the pirates not to seek profit at the [Eye of Terror].
  • After leaving the tavern, Beckman remembered glimpsing a six-ringed palace in the [Warp] and feeling an irresistible pull from it.
  • Jack gathered young [Reavers] and proposed searching the [Eye of Terror] for derelict ships and treasure despite Yondu's warning.
  • Peter Quill joined Jack's gathering and mentioned a missing merchant ship from the [Nova Empire], prompting Jack to confront him.

Ch. 345Ghost hulks and [Anulax Batteries]

Peter Quill persuaded Jack and several pirates to accompany him to the Eye of Terror by promising them Anulax Batteries, while Yondu learned that the Warp and its corrupted ghost hulks were real. The group found the missing Nova Empire freighter and prepared to board it.

  • Peter Quill convinced Jack and the other pirates to join him on a secret trip to the Eye of Terror in search of Anulax Batteries.
  • Yondu watched ships leave the base and warned Kraglin that the Warp was real and ghost hulks were moving toward inhabited worlds; he ordered someone to bring Quill back.
  • Jack's crew emerged from a jump point near the Eye of Terror and detected a huge freighter with no life signs.
  • Peter Quill identified the battered vessel as the missing Nova Empire merchant ship, and Jack ordered the crew to prepare for a forced landing.
  • Despite one pirate's misgivings, Jack insisted they board the ghost ship and search for the Anulax Batteries.

Ch. 346The eerie ghost ship

Peter Quill and Jack's crew boarded a derelict freighter to find Anulax Batteries, but encountered Warp-corrupted flesh, a dead Nova Corps member, and mind-affecting whispers. Peter found the batteries and resisted the whispers, but as he considered leaving the others behind, a tentacled humanoid monster emerged through the wall.

  • Peter Quill and Jack led the space pirates aboard the freighter, where an impossible stench and darkness unsettled the crew.
  • Peter Quill and the others found the corridor walls covered in writhing tissue, and Peter shot at a skeletal arm that appeared through a bulkhead before it vanished.
  • Jack cut open the cargo hold, revealing a chamber overgrown with fleshy tissue and the fused corpse of a Nova Corps Millenian.
  • Warp-like whispers drove several pirates toward panic, while a dormant power inside Peter Quill protected his consciousness from them.
  • Peter Quill located a case of nine Anulax Batteries, took three for himself, and considered abandoning the others.
  • A tall monster made of tentacles and humanoid limbs passed through the wall and appeared behind Peter Quill.

Ch. 347The eerie compartment

Peter Quill fled a freighter overrun by grotesque monsters and took refuge in a sealed compartment, where he discovered the remains of a [Millenian warrior] and the crew. When he opened a door at the back of the dining hall, an unknown armored figure seized him by the throat.

  • Peter Quill shot a monster blocking his escape, then fled through the freighter with Jack as more creatures and spreading flesh overwhelmed the passages.
  • Peter Quill gave Jack an empty case and split from him; Jack was torn apart by tentacles while Quill escaped into another passage.

  • Peter Quill found a dead [Millenian warrior] and other crew remains in the ruined dining hall, then searched for another exit.
  • Peter Quill opened a door at the back of the hall, and an armored figure with three blue lights seized him by the throat.

Ch. 3489,999 hours and [Imperial Truth]

Peter Quill encountered Nova Corps Centurion Carson Salk aboard a freighter corrupted by the Warp, where Salk explained that he had endured more than a year inside it despite the ship vanishing only three days earlier. As monsters battered their shelter, Salk credited his survival to the mysterious book Imperial Truth and became a devoted believer in its Emperor.

  • Carson Salk grabbed Peter Quill by the throat, then released him after Quill identified himself as Star-Lord and mentioned the Reavers and the Eye of Terror.
  • Salk introduced himself as a Nova Corps squad leader and said his freighter had entered the Warp during a space jump more than a year ago; he claimed 9,999 hours had passed, though Quill said the ship had been missing for only three days.
  • Monsters began battering the hatch, and Salk explained that Warp corruption had transformed the freighter into a living daemon whose monsters were like cells inside it.
  • Salk said the monsters could not enter the dining hall because they feared Imperial Truth, a golden book he had found on the corpse of a priest from Holy Terra.
  • Salk revealed that Imperial Truth had helped him resist the Warp and its daemons while the other Millenian warriors died, and he declared his faith in the Emperor and the book.

Ch. 349Everything Is Going According to Plan

Peter Quill and Carson Salk escaped the infested ship after [Imperial Truth] drove back the Warp flesh, while Carson resolved to use the book and [Blackstone Obelisks] against the four evil gods. The chapter revealed that [Tzeentch] had arranged their encounter, then shifted to Sif arriving at [Omnipotence City] to seek aid on Loki’s orders.

  • Carson Salk led Peter Quill through the ship’s dark corridors, salvaging an energy core and avoiding nests of flesh and Warp demons.
  • Carson raised [Imperial Truth] and recited its teachings, causing the flesh blocking their route to retreat so they could reach the flight deck.

Ch. 350Chapters 616-617: Zeus's insults and refusal

Sif represented Asgard before Zeus and the gods of the Pantheon, warning them that the Warp and the Four Chaos Gods threatened the Nine Realms and beyond. Zeus dismissed her plea and refused to provide aid, leaving Sif to depart as an elegant figure emerged to stop her.

  • Sif entered the Pantheon alone after its guards barred her Asgardian Warrior companion from attending.
  • Zeus arrived to cheers, displayed the Lightning Sword, and announced that the assembly would discuss where to hold an orgy.
  • Sif interrupted the gods and warned that Chaos forces were gathering on Daemon Worlds and would soon attack the Nine Realms.
  • Zeus and the other gods mocked Sif's warning, refused to help Asgard, and told her that Odin would have to beg in person.
  • Sif condemned the gods for their arrogance and left the Pantheon, where an elegant figure emerged from the shadows and called after her.

Ch. 351Klyntar

Sif learned from Bast that the Egyptian gods had vanished after Khepri’s death and received Bast’s amulet as a pledge of aid to Asgard. Meanwhile, Black Widow and Eddie Brock reached the symbiotes’ asteroid, where Eddie’s growing reaction led them to a hidden opening.

  • Bast told Sif that Khepri had died in his temple, Osiris’s request for help had been refused by Zeus, and she had since lost contact with the Egyptian gods.
  • Bast gave Sif her amulet and promised to help Asgard against the Eye of Terror, and Sif returned to Asgard to report to Loki disguised as Odin.
  • Loki praised Zeus’s refusal and predicted that the people of Omnipotence City would pay for their arrogance, then sent Sif back to Thor.
  • Black Widow led Eddie Brock and four S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to the asteroid where symbiotes lived, while Eddie secretly planned to bond with one again.
  • The team followed energy readings to the symbiotes’ location and split up to search after the signals divided into three clusters.

Ch. 352Discovering Symbiotes or a Mysterious Stranger

Eddie Brock found a silver symbiote in the asteroid cave and bonded with it, thrilled to regain his strength and imagining revenge. An ancient white-haired stranger appeared, stripped the symbiote from Eddie without harming him, and demanded that he listen.

  • Black Widow and Eddie Brock entered the cave and split up at a fork, with Eddie heading down the right passage alone.
  • Eddie found a silver symbiote and dropped the Symbiote Catcher, allowing it to bond with him and restore his mechanical hands' dexterity.
  • Eddie reveled in his new power and thought about revenge against Selene and Carl Mala, but an ancient voice interrupted him.
  • Countless symbiotes formed a throne and a white-haired man, who mocked Eddie and declared that his true body was far away.
  • Eddie attacked the stranger, but his head regenerated; the stranger then blasted the silver symbiote off Eddie and left him unharmed.

Ch. 353[God of Symbiotes] Knull

Knull took the silver symbiote from Eddie Brock and revealed his identity by showing Eddie memories of his ancient history. The vision ended with Knull and a golden-armored god crashing onto a barren planet.

  • Eddie Brock desperately tried to reclaim the silver symbiote, but it obeyed Knull, who seized Eddie by the throat and identified himself as the Dark King and God of Symbiotes.
  • Knull showed Eddie how the Celestials entered his dark domain, created life and light, and drove him from the darkness he called home.
  • Knull challenged a Celestial, killed one with All-Black the Necrosword, and was banished into the void by the others.
  • Knull described forging the first symbiote from the slain Celestial's blood-flames, and Eddie realized that sound and fire were inherited weaknesses of the symbiote race.
  • Knull showed Eddie how he used All-Black to slaughter gods across the cosmos, then the vision shifted to Knull and a golden-armored god crashing onto a barren planet.

Ch. 354Betrayal and [Prison]

Knull showed Eddie Brock the history of the symbiotes, from their creation and conquest under Knull to their rebellion and his imprisonment on Klyntar. Eddie learned Knull could resurrect Anti-Venom if he escaped, leaving him eager to help free the God of Symbiotes.

  • Knull explained that All-Black the Necrosword had bonded with a stranger after Knull fell into a slumber, and Eddie pledged his devotion to symbiotes to earn the chance to keep living.
  • Knull awakened beneath the sand, discovered he could create amorphous Living Darkness, and experimented on the creatures of the barren planet.
  • Knull built a symbiote army, linked their minds to his own, and sent them across the universe to destroy worlds and expand his Dark Domain.
  • Knull transformed the symbiotes into Symbiote Dragons called Grendel, then possessed one to confront Odin on ancient Earth.
  • Odin wounded Knull through the possessed dragon, breaking his control; symbiotes influenced by their hosts rebelled and imprisoned him inside the living planet Klyntar.
  • Eddie asked Knull to resurrect Anti-Venom, and Knull said he could do so if he escaped Klyntar.

Ch. 355Knull's blessing: [Void Knight]

Eddie Brock accepted Knull’s offer to find the final Gene Code in exchange for Anti-Venom’s resurrection and power to destroy Carl Mala. Knull joined Eddie with Grendel, making him a Void Knight and sending him toward his revenge while Black Widow approached the cavern.

  • Eddie Brock agreed to help Knull find the fourth Gene Code after Knull promised to resurrect Anti-Venom and give him a symbiote army to use against Carl Mala.
  • Eddie told Knull that the Gene Code might be with Carl or Kong, and Knull searched Eddie’s memories, discovering that Carl could erase his psychic bonds with symbiotes.
  • Knull promised Eddie Xenophage support and merged Grendel and thousands of symbiotes into him, transforming him into a Void Knight.
  • Eddie tested his new symbiote body and commanded the swarm within him, then heard Black Widow approaching through the cavern passage.
  • Eddie decided to keep cooperating with S.H.I.E.L.D. for now and vowed to resurrect Anti-Venom himself.

Ch. 356Praise from Fury?

Eddie Brock returned from the symbiote asteroid with twelve captured symbiotes while secretly plotting to use them to infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D. and take revenge on Carl Mala. At headquarters, Nick Fury praised Eddie’s performance and said the captured symbiotes were crucial to two projects.

  • Eddie Brock gave Black Widow twelve captured symbiotes and concealed his plan to use their bonds with S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to control the organization.
  • Black Widow and Eddie found that four S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had vanished from the other caves, and Eddie suspected Knull had made the symbiotes devour them.
  • As the spacecraft left the asteroid, Eddie vowed to use his symbiote army against Carl Mala, while Knull urged his symbiotes to find the final piece of the Gene Code so he could escape.
  • More than ten days later, Eddie handed the twelve symbiotes to researchers at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters and went to meet Nick Fury.
  • Nick Fury praised Eddie for capturing the symbiotes and relinquishing his priority claim to one, calling his contribution crucial to the Symbiote Soldier Project and the Titan Jaeger Project.

Ch. 357Reasonable suspicion

Eddie Brock concealed his symbiote army from Nick Fury, who ordered Black Widow to surveil him and planned another expedition to Klyntar. When Eddie spotted Black Widow tailing him, he postponed secretly spreading symbiotes and resolved to keep playing his own game.

  • Eddie Brock convinced Nick Fury that he was content to wait for a symbiote, while inwardly hiding his power as a Void Knight with thousands of symbiotes.
  • Nick Fury ordered Black Widow to monitor Eddie Brock because his cooperative behavior seemed suspicious, and she agreed that he might be hiding symbiotes.
  • Nick Fury learned that another trip to Klyntar would take at least half a month and vowed to reclaim his standing from Carl Mala.
  • Eddie Brock left the Triskelion and planned to secretly bond symbiotes with human hosts, but noticed Black Widow following him in a red supercar.
  • Eddie Brock led Black Widow on a circuit through the city, then postponed his plan after returning home and warned Grendel that spreading symbiotes would draw Nick Fury and the Avengers after him.

Ch. 358Building a New AI for the PPDC

Eddie Brock vowed revenge on Carl Mala while Tony Stark and Reed Richards began developing a powerful new AI for the PPDC's Titan Jaegers. Tony also planned to use the AI for his Iron Legion, hoping to protect Earth without relying on the Avengers or the Warp Group.

  • Eddie Brock drank alone and vowed to make Carl Mala pay when they met again.
  • Tony Stark questioned why S.H.I.E.L.D. and the PPDC had joined forces, and Reed Richards said the Titan Cataclysm in Washington had pushed Nick Fury and Stacker Pentecost to cooperate.
  • Reed Richards explained that the PPDC needed a new AI that could take control of a Titan Jaeger if its pilots were incapacitated, since the Jaeger lost all combat capability when its pilots went offline.
  • Tony Stark argued that JARVIS could not process the data demands of Titan Jaegers and proposed building a more powerful AI for his Iron Legion as well.
  • Tony Stark told Reed Richards he wanted autonomous robots to defend Earth, and insisted he did not trust Carl Mala to protect the planet.

Ch. 359[Ultron System]?

  • Gwen disarmed and webbed the four masked robbers, then learned they had bought their weapons from Vulture and might find his men near an abandoned factory by the docks.
  • Gwen left the robbers for the police and headed off after hearing that Vulture’s crew conducted weapons deals at the docks.
  • Jackson and a bald Black driver met a hip-hop-clad buyer outside the abandoned factory and showed him an energy gun modified from Chitauri technology.
  • Jackson fired the weapon at an abandoned car, while the driver warned him to keep the sale quiet to avoid Damage Control and the Avengers.
  • The buyer declined the powerful weapon and explained that he only wanted low-key equipment for robberies, not enough firepower to attract superheroes.

Ch. 361Peter gaslit himself

Gwen confronted Jackson, Herman, and their crew over their advanced weapons, while Peter helped stop their getaway. After learning that Vulture planned to rob a Damage Control convoy in Brooklyn, Gwen left to intercept him as Vulture arrived to attack the convoy.
