  • Phineas Mason warned Adrian Toomes that five Iron Legion robots were on their way, but Adrian refused to leave without the Chitauri Energy Stones.
  • Gwen emerged unharmed from the explosion, protected by the Hell's Eight Spider Spears, and blocked Adrian’s access to the truck with a scarlet spiderweb.
  • Adrian tried to persuade Gwen that Tony Stark’s power and wealth had driven him to crime, and Gwen hesitated as his words reminded her of her deceased father, George Stacy.
  • Gwen warned Adrian not to sell high-tech weapons in New York again, then turned away, believing Peter had already sent his men to the police station.
  • Adrian attacked the scarlet web with his Mechanical Wings, then fired purple energy blades from his Energy Pistol and cut through it.

Ch. 364Tony: You're out as head of security!

Adrian Toomes stole the crate of Chitauri energy stones while Gwen was forced to fend off the Iron Legion and then escape. At Stark Tower, Happy Hogan saw footage identifying Spider-Woman as the convoy attacker and called Tony Stark, who threatened to fire him if he had no convincing reason for waking him.

  • Adrian Toomes ignored Phineas Mason's warning, searched the trailer, and found the crate of Chitauri energy stones as five Iron Legion robots targeted Gwen.
  • Gwen dodged the robots' attacks, webbed two of them to the ground, and escaped the remaining three by luring them into a built-up area where their weapons shut down.
  • Adrian Toomes saw Gwen fleeing, then left with Phineas Mason and the stolen crate, unaware that Peter Parker had already taken down his hideout and delivered his crew to the Queens Police Department.
  • Happy Hogan rushed to Stark Tower and watched Iron Legion footage that appeared to show Spider-Woman attacking the convoy.

Ch. 375Believing in Knull's [Dark Church]

Misty Knight and Eric investigated a string of killings involving missing human and animal spines and suspected the Dark Church was behind them. After its founder, Dihal, refused to let them inspect the church, Misty Knight bluffed that a search warrant was coming and went to watch the church that night, hoping to draw the culprits out.

  • Eric told Misty Knight that hunters had found wild animals with their heads eaten and spines removed, and said he suspected the Dark Church was responsible for the killings.
  • Misty Knight and Eric went to the church, where guards initially barred them from entering but brought them to meet its founder, Dihal.
  • Dihal refused Misty Knight's request to inspect the church and identified its blood-red spiral emblem as the symbol of the god Knull.
  • Misty Knight accused Dihal and her congregation of being linked to the strange cases, then threatened to obtain a search warrant as she left.
