Hagrid pulled back his warhammer and raised it again, smashing it into the back of one of the ancient warriors.

With a dull boom, that Bloodletter's armor burst into golden and crimson fragments.

He fell and never rose again. Ur also climbed to his feet.

The battle was nearing its end. Scrap Wiken clamped the demon's core tightly between his two mechanical arms. The monster from the Chaos void repeatedly lashed the buried Ork steel body with its tentacles, but that could not make a warrior who had faced death feel even the slightest fear.

Strange Chaos flames leaped around the demon, yet Wiken remained utterly still.

As thick white steam burst from its joints, the dreadnought suddenly wrenched its arms apart, tearing the demon to pieces in an instant.

Blinding light flickered through the bunker, and horrific screams echoed through the air before abruptly cutting off.

The demon was gone. The Orks had won.

Hagrid stood beside the enemy corpses, leaning against his warhammer and catching his breath. Kaoreish was examining Ur's wounds, while the other guards gathered together and awaited their next orders.

In Ur's ears, Kaoreish's voice sounded so distant. The side effects of the potion he had taken earlier were beginning to take effect.

"This is the last place. It's special, and there's a crucial clue here. I know the Blood-Worship Cult will defend this place to the death."
