The dark sky kept erupting with dull booms, making it impossible to tell whether they were thunderclaps or artillery fire. The entire land lay shrouded beneath the haze of destruction.

The whole town resembled a massive marketplace, filled with shouting and the sounds of vehicles crashing into one another.
On the muddy roads, handcarts, trailers, souped-up buggies, trucks, and tanks were all jammed together. Orks carrying all manner of different banners darted through the gaps between vehicles. From time to time, some unlucky sod would be knocked down by a suddenly moving vehicle, or even crushed between two of them.
The town was not large. In the past, it had only been a settlement of several thousand people. But now, tens of thousands of Orks were crammed into this narrow area, while large numbers of artillery pieces and war machines were stationed outside town.
The former residents had already withdrawn to Dunwich, so when the Orks attacked this place, there had been almost no one here besides the garrison. The few hundred defenders had only held out for a few minutes before being routed.
