Roroshanik drew a circle on the table with his hand.
"This is our world."
Then he drew several more circles nearby.
"These are other worlds. As long as you cross the cold void—no, even within that cold void—vast stretches of space await your conquest."
"You mean those stars?"
"That would not be an incorrect way to understand it."
"HAHAHA!"
Guk slapped his knee hard and burst into booming laughter. The shockwave of sound sent the envoys' robes flapping wildly, exposing the twisted flesh beneath. Only Roroshanik remained seated upright.
"Thought you'd have something more to say."
Guk abruptly stopped laughing and fixed Roroshanik with a stare.
"I can find war myself. Right now, all I wanna do is crush you trash! Then I'll go wherever I want!"
"Yeah, yeah! Crush 'em!"
The Orks in the room joined in the clamor.
"Indeed, you may choose to sweep through this world before conquering others, but... we possess complete star charts for the entire sector. Do you know how far one planet is from another? Do you know the condition of each sector, or what creatures inhabit them?"
"You threatening me?"
Guk slammed a hand onto the table and rose to his feet. The poor wooden table instantly exploded into splinters. The envoys all retreated, assuming battle-ready stances.
Roroshanik remained seated, as though nothing had happened.
"Quit yapping! I'll take what I need myself!"
Guk pointed at him as he spoke, but received only a smile in return.
"You need our assistance, Lord Guk. Our alliance would not be one of equals. We merely hope to beg a small measure of pitiful autonomy from you, after which we shall become a part of your war machine."
Guk looked hesitantly at Roroshanik and the other envoys.
"You... want to surrender?"
"We would rather call
