In the secret camp deep beneath Dunwich, the Orks were still hard at work. They had hastily built a stone chamber, around which numerous Weirdboyz gathered.

When a series of heavy footsteps sounded, the Orks dispersed and filed out of the massive room.

Rows of high-powered lamps had been installed on the ceiling, continuously bathing the entire area in daylight-bright illumination. Numerous warding totems had been inscribed across the floor.

"Where is he?"

"Here."

The Bloodseeker, stripped of his ropes, was chained to a cruciform totem frame in the center of the room.

He was already on the verge of death. The apparatus holding him fast was Mogtrakka's work, serving simultaneously as a prison, an interrogation device, and life support.

Several pulsating life-support systems were arranged on the floor behind the interrogation frame. These devices had been supplied by the Torlas Council. IV tubes and monitoring cables extending from them burrowed like worms into the Enchanter's chest, where the grievous wound had been sutured and grafted.

He stared at the arriving White Tyrant and Ork leaders with hatred and fear. He knew very well whose hands he had fallen into, and what he had become.

Transparent mucus streamed from his mouth, nose, and eyes, dripping onto the floor and his bare torso, gradually drying and hardening like glue.

A powerful beastly scent hung in the room, even overpowering the acrid smells of disinfectant and blood.
