Kaoreish lay prone atop the crumbling pyramid, watching Ur raise his scimitar in victory, still unable to comprehend what he had just witnessed.
The Singer's bizarre melody still echoed in his mind, but Kaoreish shook his head to dispel it and stared incredulously at the pyramid's peak.

So indescribable, so beautiful, so grotesque, so depraved.
Even racking his brains, Kaoreish could find no words to describe the idol. It had four arms, exquisitely smooth contours, a body both male and female, and a face half-hidden beneath a veil.
The only thing he knew for certain was that, after just one glance, an uncontrollable urge had risen within him.
Yet he could not look away.
Ur turned to face Kaoreish and set his scimitar beside him.
"A good blade. I oughta thank you for interfering."
