"This place has a secret passage that lets the Shrimp move in and out freely. I sent boys to scout it several times and found nothing, but Shrimp have definitely emerged from there. Once captured, they won't tell us anything."
"I've heard that Shrimp have been causing trouble in this city nonstop lately? They should be punished. If they want to go back, we'll drive every last one of them into the sea and let them swim home."
Charkin steered the conversation in a dangerous direction.
"Tell us what you know."
Beluf gestured to his personal secretary, Camille, and she immediately stepped forward.
"Four months ago, Green Curtain received an emergency signal from 007 Squad. The signal was extremely weak, and it was likely sent around two years ago."
"What did the signal say?"
As if in answer, the drawing on the map vanished and became a screen floating in midair. Then the projector began to operate.
At first, the screen was nearly pitch-black, with only vague movements flickering in and out of view.
Then a silhouette entered the frame. Camille recognized it as a man's face, lit only by the faint glow of a candle. He appeared to be in a cramped space surrounded by stone walls.
Though the image was extremely blurry, every Ork present could tell that he was terrified.
The man's eyes were wide, his breathing shallow and rapid, his face covered in glistening sweat.
"The insignia on his collar..."
Camille pointed at a frame that flashed across the screen.
"He's a pathfinder from 007 Squad."
The banshee then signaled for the operator to adjust the projection equipment. At once, the chamber was filled with a cacophony of sound: the crackle of burning flames, distant shouting, and gunfire.
"They're organizing an uprising together."
The man's voice
